Student Research Opportunities

Picture
Students have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in my lab throughout the year. Students generally work for 1-3 research credits. Less frequently I offer paid, internship type positions. My expectations are that my research students will:
  •  Be motivated and detail oriented
  •  Work with me for a minimum of one year
  •  Maintain a good GPA
  •  Most importantly: Be EXCITED about avian and/or behavioral research!

I am also happy to mentor students who are interested in developing their own projects. If you are interested in working with me a good way to begin is by sending me a statement of interest in the form of a letter as well as your resume.
