Mimicry in Parrot Research Hits the Press!

Parrots have amazing abilities to learn new vocalizations throughout their life. Companion parrots provide a unique opportunity for scientists to compare and contrast this ability among a large number of species. Myself, collaborator Lauryn Benedict and undergrads from from the University of Northern Colorado recently published our work in this area.
